Meet Ankita Jain, DDS, MS

“My goal has always been to give back to the community—and what better way to do it than to help kids achieve healthy oral hygiene. Through personalized treatments and patient education, I aim to deliver the best dental care possible.”
A native of India, Dr. Ankita Jain earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from The Himachal Pradesh University located in Shimla, India where she practiced general dentistry for a little while before moving to the United States. She continued her training in America by receiving a Master of Science in Oral Biology from The University of Louisville. With a desire to pursue a career in the dental field, Dr. Jain achieved her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus before completing a pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Jain was an Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society Inductee and was awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry and Special Care while she attended dental school.
Dr. Jain is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and aims to provide comprehensive, personalized dental treatment for each one of her young patients. Her goal is to make every child feel comfortable during their appointments by discovering more about them and what method of care is best for them.
Dr. Jain is a major advocate of patient education and teaching both parents and kids about the importance of oral health. She aims to give families the right tools and information for kids to achieve healthy oral hygiene. She wants patients to know that you can enjoy guilty pleasures like chocolate and still maintain good oral hygiene.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jain is married and has two children: a daughter and a son. She loves spending time with her family, especially traveling and exploring with her kids. Naturally, she loves Indian food but also enjoys trying other cuisines. She enjoys hiking, skiing, biking, camping, attending concerts and organizing get togethers. Additionally, she enjoys meeting new people and going on mission trips to provide oral care to underserved areas, such as Guatemala. Some of Dr. Jain’s favorite things about the Fredericksburg area are the different seasons to enjoy as well as the warm and loving people in the community.
