Meet Dr. Annie Tran, DDS, MPH

“My priority is to provide a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe. Building trust with each patient and family is at the heart of the care I strive to deliver every day.”
Dr. Annie Tran is a proud Northern Virginia native who has always been passionate about caring for others. After graduating from Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech, followed by a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Global Health from George Mason University.
Her interest in dentistry began after shadowing local dentists and discovering how much joy and confidence a healthy smile can bring, especially for children. This experience inspired her to attend Howard University College of Dentistry, where she earned both her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. During her residency, she was honored to serve as chief resident, further strengthening her skills in compassionate, evidence-based care.
Dr. Tran is deeply committed to helping every child feel comfortable, confident, and cared for during their dental visits. She strives to make dentistry a positive experience and loves empowering families with the knowledge to maintain lifelong oral health. Proud to serve the same community where she grew up, Dr. Tran views her work as both a privilege and a calling.
Outside the office, Dr. Tran enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. As an only child, she cherishes close connections and loves to travel, explore new cuisines, and discover hidden gems in the local food scene.
