Afterwards, he completed a 2-year residency program at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Wilmington, Delaware, where he earned a Pediatric Dentistry Certificate.
Dr. El-Sayed ’s devotion to caring and helping others is evident as he was honored with the Dean’s Award for Community Service from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, which required more than 120 hours of service.
Dr. El-Sayed chose pediatric dentistry because he enjoys being there for a child as they develop and grow. He understands the importance of being flexible, as each young patient’s needs are unique and vary. Dr. El-Sayed finds working with children both a challenge and a privilege, as he looks forward to exploring their curiosity about oral health and setting them up for success into adulthood.
Dr. El-Sayed’s goal is to get children excited about coming to the dentist and making each visit a positive experience. He aims to make each appointment fun, educational and comfortable in his chair. As a father, you can expect Dr. El-Sayed to utilize a gentle, caring approach that makes your child feel comfortable and relaxed.
